Quality Med Billing

Key features of QMB MasterScan

Paperless Office: store all paper records electronically as computer files – including insurance cards, patient chart notes, lab reports, insurance EOB’s, etc.

Easy Searching: Intuitive Windows Explorer-like cabinets and folders makes it simple to find documents with virtually no training.  Alternatively, use Advanced Search for very powerful querying of entire database of document attributes.

Realize Benefits immediately:  tremendous productivity gains (no longer need to take out and return files), reduced physical storage requirements, and adherence to HIPAA privacy requirements.

Flexible Configuration: data-driven setup.  Cabinets, folders, document types, “index tags”, and document storage locations can all be configured as desired.  User-defined attributes can be created, and then used for index tagging and in document searches.

Lytec, Medisoft, and AltaPoint, PMX3 Integration:   Directly ties in to Practice Management Patient and Insurance Company master lists – no export/import, comma or tab-delimited files.  EOBs automatically cross-referenced to Patients. Filter subsets of patients based on Practice Management Appointment Scheduler. Use fax numbers already recorded for insurance companies, referring physicians, labs, etc. as “address books” when using fax function. Familiar screen layout and keyboard handling.

Messaging engine: Messages can be typed and documents ‘attached’.  Possible uses: (1)Phone messages forwarded to Provider’s inbox, (2)Lab reports forwarded to doctor for reviewing results, (3)EOB exception items forwarded to a billing supervisor.

Replication of documents and attribute information between different physical locations -- great for multi-location practices or for billing services to receive information from their clients rather than receive hard-to-read faxes.

Remote Access: view documents over any internet connection. Great for multi-location practices, access from home, billing services wanting to share a document repository with their clients, etc.
